Use the Activity app on your Apple Watch

With the Activity app on your Apple Scout, you can track how much you lot motion, practice, and stand up from day to day.

Track your Activity

To go started, open the Activity app on your Apple Watch and follow the onscreen steps. Your Apple Scout lets y'all know when you reach your goals and information technology offers suggestions and encouragement to help y'all close your rings. Larn how to close each ring or change your goals.

Move

The Motion ring shows how many agile calories y'all've burned so far. Complete your daily Move goal by burning active calories every day. Active calories, unlike resting, are ones that you burn by standing or moving around. Get help earning Movement and Practice credit.

For users 13 years and younger, the Move band shows how many minutes the user has spent actively moving around.

Exercise

The Exercise band shows how many minutes of brisk activity you've completed. Complete your daily Exercise goal by exercising for at least 30 minutes each mean solar day. Learn how to meet your do goal.

Stand

The Stand up ring shows hours in which you lot've stood and moved for at least a minute. Consummate your daily Stand goal by standing up and moving effectually for at to the lowest degree 1 minute during 12 dissimilar hours in the day. Even if yous stand all day, you lot still demand to motion around to earn credit for continuing.

If you specify that you use a wheelchair, the Stand band switches to the Curlicue ring. Curl shows hours in which you've pushed effectually for at least 1 infinitesimal.

Y'all can cheque your progress for the day on your Apple Spotter, or bank check your entire history from the Fitness app on your iPhone.

  1. Open the Action app on your Apple Scout.
  2. Swipe up to run into details for each band.

  3. Swipe up again to see more than, like your full steps, your altitude, and workouts.
  4. To run across your weekly summary, swipe up again, and so tap Weekly Summary.

Set activity reminders

  1. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
  2. Tap the My Watch tab, and then tap Activity.
  3. Choose your notifications and reminders. For example, coaching notifications are based on your previous progress.

* The metrics that appear depend on the type of workout. For instance, route is available for outdoor walk, run, open water swim, or bike workouts when you accept GPS.
